Disciplinary Regulations
ADMISSION
Newly admitted students have to be submit their Municipal Birth Certificate. No change will be made in the date thereafter. For students who have migrated from another school the date of birth in the leaving certificate will be considered final.
 
FEES
Fees are to be paid strictly in advance at the beginning of each month. Fine will be charged for late payment. Concessions in fees are granted to deserving poor and needy students by the Principal. The same will be withdrawn if the application and conduct are not satisfactory.
 
UNIFORM
All students should come in complete uniform and avoid fancy accessories. Cleanliness of dress and person are expected from all students. A short hair cut is a must.
 
ATTENDANCE
Students should come daily to school. Attendance on reopening day after vacations (summer, winter, Christmas) is compulsory. In case of absence a note in the calendar duly signed by the parent is a must. No student who is suffering from contagious or infectious diseases will be permitted to attend school. Irregular attendance (less than 75% per term) will be dealt as per the Order of Government (Grant in aid Code). If a student remains absent from school for more than one month without intimation, the name will be struck off the register and as a rule will not be readmitted.
 
PUNCTUALITY
The students should be punctual and be on time to school for the school assembly, they should be punctual even in their school work. In case of habitual late coming (more than three days in a month) the parents will have to meet the Principal.
 
BEHAVIOUR
Politeness and courtesy of speech and conduct are expected from all students. Obscenity in words or action, habitual want of application, insubordination to teachers, disrespect to staff, cheating, serious misconduct, ragging or behaviour objectionable to the good tone of the institution within or even outside the school premises will be sufficient reasons for dismissal of the student. Magazines, periodicals, novels or objectionable literature are not allowed in the school. Students found damaging school property will be dealt with severely. The fine amount will be decided by the Principal.
 
LEAVE
Absent record has to be maintained in the calendar duly signed by the parent. Prior permission should be taken from the Principal in case of any emergency. Medical fitness certificate has to be submitted if the student has been absent for more than three days due to illness.
 
EXAMINATION
The Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation system (CCE) includes Formative Evaluation (during regular classes) and Summative Evaluation (end of each term) students have to be present for all tests.

Students who attempt using unfair means / copying during tests and examinations using manuscripts, printed material etc. will be given zero marks in that subject.
 
TUITIONS
No teacher may engage in private tuition (Vide – Grant-in aid Code). Private tuitions are not encouraged. In special cases, written permission should be obtained from the Principal who will assign a teacher.
 
SPORTS
Students are encouraged to take part in all sporting activities conducted by the school. No student will be excused from Physical Training. A Medical Certificate (Civil Surgeon) accompanied by a written application from parent is compulsory for exemption.
 
WITHDRAWAL
A one month notice is to be given to the school for withdrawal of admission, failing which the fees for the entire term will have to be paid.
 
DISCIPLINE
Students are not allowed to leave the school premises during school working hours without the permission of the Principal. They will maintain silence and conduct themselves in a civilized manner.
 
THE DECISION OF THE PENALTY FOR ANY BREACH OF SCHOOL RULES OR DISCIPLINE WILL BE TAKEN BY THE PRINCPAL ONLY.
